Meeting of the Executive Secretariat of the Arab Coalition for Darfur

The Arab Coalition for Dafur in cooperation with the Arab Program for Human Rights Activists, convenes on 11:12 July 2009 in Cairo the Meeting of the Secretariat of the Arab Coalition for Darfur.

The Meeting aims to make assess the activities that had been carried out by the Coalition in the last six months Besides, the Meeting targets to discus the current status of the coalition and the progress achieved since its establishment, in addition to the review of the rules of procedure of the Coalition, the future of the Executive Secretariat and the possibility of shifting Executive Secretariat into Board of Trustees.

The Meeting will also tackle the objectives and priorities agreed upon in Yemen, which had not been completed, in the light of scheduling it according to the coming plan of action. Meanwhile, the Meeting will develop specific mechanisms on means to follow up the outputs of the previous activities such as, The Parallel Conference to the Arab Summit, the Workshop of the Arab Parliamentarians, and the Solidarity Visit.

Moreover, the Meeting will set up the roles and tasks of the Secretariat members according to timetable to perform the activities of the Coalition and develop the plan of action for the coming year.

اجتماع أعضاء السكرتارية التنفيذية للتحالف العربي من أجل دارفور

القاهرة 11-12 يوليو 2009

          ينظم التحالف العربي من أجل دارفور بالتعاون مع البرنامج العربي لنشطاء حقوق الإنسان اجتماعا لأعضاء السكرتارية التنفيذية والذي سيعقد بالقاهرة في الفترة من 11-13 يوليو الجاري 2009

         يهدف هذا الاجتماع إلى تقييم أنشطة التحالف المنجزة في فترة الستة شهور الماضية والمناقشة حول وضعية التحالف بصورة عامة ومدي تحقيقه للأهداف التي أسس من أجلها، ذلك إلى جانب مراجعة النظام الداخلي للتحالف ومناقشة دور ومستقبل السكرتارية التنفيذية وإمكانية تحويل السكرتارية التنفيذية لمجلس أمناء.

      يتم استعراض الأهداف والأولويات المتفق عليها في اليمن والتي لم يتم إنجازها، مع جدولتها زمنينا وتضمينها للخطة المقبلة، وسيعمل الاجتماع على وضع آليات محددة لكيفية متابعة مخرجات الأنشطة السابقة مثل المؤتمر الموازي للقمة العربية وورشة البرلمانيين العرب والزيارة التضامنية .

     أيضا سيتم تقسيم للأدوار والمهام من خلال وضع جدول زمني للقيام بتنفيذ أنشطة التحالف مع وضع خطة عمل لمدة سنة مقبلة
