Talks on International Criminal Court Resolution Is Not Allowed

Arab program for human rights activists (APHRA) is anxiously following up the impact of the International Criminal Court (ICC) resolution on human rights conditions in Sudan, particularly after Al Bashir's decision to force out some of human rights organizations and cut out their license immediately after the resolution. In addition, Al Bashir permits Sudanese security forces to maltreat scholars as well as human rights activists who tackle the issue.

In this context, Sudanese security forces detained many scholars in Al Kartoum University like: Tag El sirr Ga'fer Tag. Tag was one of those students who had been arrested on March 16. The students had been blindfolded and forced to an unknown place where they were physically and mentally abused and tortured. And then they were investigated on their perspective of the arrest warrant issued by (ICC) against Al Bashir. Moreover, they were asked about their relation with Al Khatem Adlan Centre conducted by the human rights activist Al Bakir Al Afif. And finally after the investigation, Tag was sent back home also blindfolded.

However, the Arab program for human rights activists (APHRA) expresses its great condemnation over this unjustified violence committed by the Sudanese security forces towards those scholars as well as the deliberate defamation of human rights activists in Sudan. Moreover, Arab program for human rights activists (APHRA) asserts that this oppressive behavior is considered as a clear and complete violation to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that gives everyone the right to freedom of opinion and expression without interference as well as the right of the integrity of the body without being subjected to torture or to cruel treatment.

Meanwhile, the Arab program for human rights activists (APHRA) calls on the Sudanese government to abide by the international commitments and charters concerning human rights that has been approved on. In addition, the program asks the Sudanese government to realize everyone's right to hold and express opinions even against the government's approach. The government also has to act seriously to halt the tragic situation in Darfur with taking into consideration the protection of civilians whom have been suffering for six years. And that’s the only way for President Omar Al Bashir to get rid of the successive charges of the International Community.

ممنوع الحديث عن قرار المحكمة الجنائية الدولية

        يتابع البرنامج العربي باهتمام شديد وبقلق بالغ تداعيات قرار المحكمة الجنائية الدولية علي حالة حقوق الإنسان داخل السودان، خاصة مع قرار الرئيس البشير بطرد عدد من المنظمات العاملة في المجال وانهاء ترخيصها في أعقاب القرار مباشرة، وإطلاق يد الأجهزة الأمنية بين أوساط النشطاء والطلاب والتنكيل بكل من يتحدث عن هذا القرار أو يؤيده.

          وفي هذا السياق قامت الأجهزة الأمنية باعتقال عدد من الطلاب من حرم جامعة الخرطوم ومنهم/ تاج السر جعفر تاج السر، واقتيدوا إلي مكان مجهول معصوبي الأعين ومورس عليهم التعذيب البدني والنفسي ،ودار التحقيق معهم حول مدي تأييدهم لقرار المحكمة الجنائية الدولية بشأن توقيف البشيرومدي علاقتهم بمركز الخاتم عدلان الذي يديره الناشط الحقوقي الباقر العفيف، وذلك في يوم 16مارس الجاري، ثم أعيد الطالب المذكور إلي أمام منزله بالطريقة نفسها معصوب العينين.

          إن البرنامج العربي إذ يعرب عن استنكاره الشديد لهذا العنف غير المبرر من قبل الأجهزة الأمنية السودانية تجاه مجموعة من الطلبة والتشويه المتعمد لسمعة نشطاء حقوق الإنسان فإنه يؤكد علي أن ماتم مع تاج السر وزملاؤه ما هو إلا انتهاك واضح للحق في سلامة الجسد المنصوص عليه في العهد الدولي للحقوق المدنية والسياسية وكذا لحقهم في حرية الرأي والتعبير، وفي الجملة يمثل هذا المسلك انتهاكا لكافة بنود وأحكام الإعلان العالمي للمدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان.

          إن البرنامج العربي يطالب الحكومة السودانية بضرورة احترام التزاماتها الدولية الملقاة علي عاتقها بموجب تصديقها علي المواثيق الدولية ذات الصلة بحقوق الإنسان، وأن تكف يدها عن النشطاء الحقوقيين وأن تحترم حرية كل فرد في التعبير عن آرائه حتي ولو كانت معارضة للتوجهات الرسمية، وعليها أن تعمل بجد علي إنهاء الوضع المأساوي في إقليم دارفور بما يضمن حماية المدنيين فيه من جراء النزاع المسلح الدائر علي أرض الإقليم منذ ست سنوات، وهذا وحده كفيل بوقف الملاحقات الدولية بشأن الرئيس عمر البشير.
