Reuters: Sudan security chief warns foreigners of attacks. Sudan's security chief has warned foreigners that "outlaws" might target them if President Omar Hassan al-Bashir was indicted for war crimes, state media reported on Sunday. Sudan has been trying to stop a possible International Criminal Court arrest warrant against Bashir on charges of genocide in Darfur, where rebels have been fighting Khartoum's rule since 2003.

Agence France-Presse: Arab-African Darfur talks face new delay. A meeting of Arab and African foreign ministers on the crisis in Sudan's Darfur region has again been postponed, this time to January 14, an Arab League official said on Saturday. Arab League Secretary General Amr Mussa, African Union Commission president Jean Ping and Qatari Prime Minister Hamad bin Jassim will preside at the talks on Doha on Wednesday, Sudan's Arab League envoy Salah Halima told reporters. Petrochina Blasted for Indirectly Supporting Human Rights Violations. Over 80 civil society organizations from 25 countries, along with government officials and activist actress Mia Farrow, have filed a complaint with the United Nations charging PetroChina, the publicly traded arm of China National Petroleum Company (CNPC), with indirectly supporting the Sudan regime that is responsible for the human rights crisis in Darfur.
