Associated Press: G-20 summit organizers show off media nerve center. ThePittsburghChannel: Hundreds Of Darfur Signs Displayed In Schenley Park.  Darfur genocide is being protested with hundreds of signs in Oakland's Schenley Park before world leaders arrive for the G-20 economic summit in Pittsburgh this week. The Save Darfur Coalition and the Pittsburgh Darfur Emergency Coalition are building a display on Flagstaff Hill with 610 signs -- each one bearing the name of a village that has been destroyed in the past five years.

Washington Times: Obama, African leaders huddle at United Nations. resident Obama met Tuesday with two dozen African leaders who shared their concerns about struggling economies and political instability, White House officials and diplomats said.  Mr. Obama discussed in general terms how to maintain peace and security in Africa. Mr. Obama spoke about the need for cooperation to stabilize Darfur, the war-torn region of western Sudan, according to a summary released.

This op-ed appeared in The Huffington Post by Jerry Fowler, Haggag Nayel and Dismas Nkunda. President Obama Must Address Sudan at the UN General Assembly.  While President Barack Obama will speak to a number of pressing global issues when he addresses the U.N. General Assembly tomorrow, one topic he cannot neglect is Sudan. The President should seize the opportunity to build international support for policies to protect the human rights of all Sudanese and promote lasting peace in the country.
