A propos du Consortium Darfour

Le Consortium Darfour est une coalition de plus de 50 ONG basées en Afrique et focalisées sur le continent et qui œuvrent ensemble pour promouvoir une paix durable et mettre un terme à la crise humanitaire et aux violations des droits humains au Darfour.

Le consortium a été mis sur place en Septembre 2004. Les ONG soucieuses se sont rassemblées en marge de la troisième session extraordinaire de la Commission Africaine des Droits de l'Homme et des Peuples, à Pretoria, Afrique du Sud. Le consortium reflète la perspective unique de la société civile Africaine et fournit un forum pour une unité d'action, notamment par un engagement durable avec les institutions de l'Union Africaine.
